COVID-19 has been devastating for small businesses of every kind around the world and the country. Many have lost business and, almost all, have needed to adapt rapidly to national lockdown regulations. We’re excited to share the conclusion of a wonderful 3-year partnership with the European Union and Operation Hope South Africa, which enabled the expansion of our impact to Northern Cape, Limpopo and the Free State.
This is an unprecedented Youth Week in South Africa as it also coincides with the second week that some learners have been back at school since March and the state of National Disaster and Lockdown were announced. With all that has been written about youth and schools being opened, very little has been written on the insights and perspectives of the education systems, the largest group of stakeholders – the learners themselves.
