Lerato: Bridging the gap

Lerato is passionate about mathematics and her community action project is working to improve the maths pass rate in the lower grades 8 to 9 at her high school, Kopa Secondary School, as she has seen that the lower grades are not performing well. She has noted that they struggle with the adjustment from primary school maths to high school maths, therefore, launching extra maths lessons will assist in improving their results.
