Nicola’s Project Gets Media Attention
Nicola’s Project Gets Media Attention!
We are very proud of Nicola Siepman whose community action project, the Mpho Campaign, has been profiled in the Highway Mail Newspaper! The article described how she has collected materials to create dignity packs for the homeless in the eThekwini Region. The dignity packs are made up of toilet rolls, toothbrushes and toothpaste, towels, soaps, sanitary products (for women packs).
Nicola is part of the Trailblazer Class of 2016 and attends St. Benedict’s School in Durban. For her project she created partnerships with different charities, collected financial and in-kind donations for the materials, and mobilised volunteers to help her create the packs. Her target is to distribute 1000 dignity packs.
