enke: make your mark hosts its first ever alumni summit
This Friday 31 January, enke: Make Your Mark will launch the 2014 enke Alumni Summit. This event will gather 70 past participants of enke programs, young leaders from across South Africa aged between 18 and 28 years of age, and is themed, “RE-CONNECT! RE-INSPIRE!”
At a time when more of enke’s 980 past participants are entering tertiary institutions and the workforce, the 2014 enke Alumni Summit is an awesome opportunity for these past participants to reconnect and network with other alumni, as well as refresh their personal development and leadership skills to assist them in making a positive impact within their respective communities.
This year enke’s Alumni Summit will feature impact entrepreneur Karissa Samuels as the keynote speaker. Her sixty minute session will provide insight into how to identify and follow one’s passion, in addition to discussing the benefits of young people networking and collaborating to make a positive impact in their world. The two-day Summit will also incorporate diverse panel discussions and workshops for attendees to gain fresh perspectives on how to make their marks within their communities.
The 2014 enke: Alumni Summit was made possible by DG Murray Trust and will run from Friday 31 January to Sunday 2 February 2014.
