Siyamthanda, Vuyisa & Sibusiswe: The Change Initiators

Going by the name “Change Initators”, this group of three 2013 Trailblazers are tutoring primary school children and offering them homework classes to deter them from getting influenced into negative behaviours by older kids within the community. The primary school learners are provided with a safe and engaging platform for them to not only receive academic assistance but also receive support and acquire important life skills.

The Change Initiators have held event where guest speakers and poets are invited to motivate the primary school learners and encourage them to persevere in spite of all the challenges that they are facing.
